About the Bellringers

The Bellringers are local people who started because they wanted to learn, some Ringers start because they want to learn a new hobby,or enjoy meeting new people,or because they want to socialise.

What we do

We ring the Bells on Sundays to call people to Parish Communion.

We also ring for special occasions such as Weddings,Anniversaries,National events etc. There is also a weekly practice night on Thursdays from 7:45 to 9:00pm,bellringing can be thirsty work and usually some of the ringers finish up in the club/pub for a good chat over a drunk or two !

We are continually looking for new ringers to join our friendly band,so if you are interested in having a go ,please contact the Tower Captain bryanchapman2@aol.com  Tel.01933-398818

We welcome everyone.

We would be very pleased to hear from you,or alternatively come along to one of our practice nights on Thursdays, you will probably find it is better and completely different to what you think, and it can also keep you fit both mentally and physically.

Bellringing is great fun and also very interesting.

Can you become a Ringer?

Well, only you can supply that answer,if you like the sound of bellringing or just curious to see what goes on in the Tower, please contact the Tower Captain to arrange a visit and a practical session.
